A delegation of chief executives from India’s top business body has visited NEOM to identify opportunities for cooperation under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry is leading the delegation of CEOs and government officials to the Kingdom this week as businesses want to tap into the possibilities posed by Saudi megaprojects, including the flagship multibillion-dollar NEOM smart city.

NEOM is one of the most ambitious mega-infrastructure projects being built on Earth today. This ‘cognitive linear city’ will use inputs and data collected within its confines to improve the lives of its future residents, set to number nine million people by 2045.

The four-day FICCI CEOs delegation to Saudi Arabia (Feb 18-21) will chart out ways to strengthen economic bilateral relations between the two nations. The delegation will meet various senior government officials and Ministers in Riyadh and NEOM in Saudi Arabia along with Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) and Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Luxury ecotourism in Saudi Arabia has taken a major step forward with the announcement of Zardun, an exclusive sanctuary resort developed by NEOM, the sustainable region taking shape in the northwest of the Kingdom.
NEOM McLaren's new driver pairing of Mattias Ekstrom and Cristina Gutierrez impressed at the Extreme E season opener in Saudi Arabia, with both drivers exceeding expectations. Despite battling persistent mechanical issues, the team secured a podium finish on Saturday and a Redemption Race win on Sunday. Sporting director Gary Paffett highlighted Gutierrez's calmness under pressure and racecraft, along with Ekstrom's creativity and strategic driving.
Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Saudi Arabia’s NEOM have revealed plans to introduce a new resort at the TROJENA project. Expected to open its doors in the north-western mountain development by 2027, Raffles TROJENA aims to redefine mountain hospitality, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the region’s natural beauty.
Snowfall blanketed on Friday the TROJENA Mountains for the second time during the month of February. TROJENA, the Mountains of NEOM, is located 50 km from the Gulf of Aqaba in the northwestern Saudi region of Tabuk and it is part of the NEOM giga city project.

Sir Alex Ferguson will have the chance to secure further international honours after Richard Fahey confirmed his Spirit Dancer is on course for the NEOM Turf Cup in Saudi Arabia later this month. The former Manchester United manager was no stranger to glory overseas during his time in the dugout and alongside co-owners Peter Done and Ged Mason saw Spirit Dancer collect £500,000 when victorious in the Bahrain International Trophy in November.
