NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) has initiated a recruitment drive as it advances the construction and operations of the world’s largest green hydrogen plant, located at OXAGON in Saudi Arabia’s NEOM region. This initiative is part of NGHC’s broader efforts to build a robust workforce across various functions, including corporate, Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS), risk, operations and maintenance, finance, IT and cybersecurity.
The Board of Directors of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve Development Authority, chaired by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, announced last Thursday the launch of the reserve’s Integrated Development Management Plan (IDMP).

NEOM yesterday hosted its inaugural NEOM Social Responsibility Awards ceremony. The celebratory event hosted by NEOM Social Responsibility (NEOM SR) honored the outstanding contributions being made by NEOM’s employees, sectors, departments, partners, and communities in the region, NEOM said in a news release.

The eighth season will focus on highlighting ecological awareness and sustainable living throughout the show – reflecting the core values of the futuristic city of NEOM.
When Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched NEOM in October, many wondered what the name of the mega project meant. The name “NEOM” is derived from two words. The first three letters from the Ancient Greek prefix neo-meaning “new”. The fourth letter is from the abbreviation of Mostaqbal, Arabic for “future.”
TROJENA, one of several proposed NEOM zones, will be 50 kilometers from the Gulf of Aqaba and will comprise a ski community. The project is currently being built and should be finished by 2026. The area hopes to draw 700,000 tourists and 7,000 long-term inhabitants by 2030.
In early 2021, Saudi Arabia unveiled the Line, a 170-kilometer-long linear city, part of the NEOM project. NEOM has since expanded with proposals for the region, including a ski destination set to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games, a floating port city at OXAGON, and cliffside hotels at Leyja.
Saudi Arabia wants investors to know its ambitious NEOM development is on track. Its effort is called “Ground X” and is meant to show live feeds of construction sites, project deadlines, and a “progress library” for each zone of NEOM, including Sindalah, THE LINE and TROJENA. NEOM is looking for a “PMO Specialist” to join the Ground X team, which the job posting says is “responsible for delivering a mandate to document NEOM’s progress.”
